Last week I finished my 1st WindowBlinds skin and now I am starting to notice some bugs and I started fixing them but I can't seem to find a solution for the 2 following bugs. I get a white border around the scrollbar and don't know how to remove it. The second bug I need help with is that the 'Normal' text appears in SkinStudio in pink eventhough I set it in black. When skin is applied the text is black but still I'm worried that something is not good if the text shows pi...

Today I will continue with creating my frist ever WindowBlinds skin. You can have a look here WWW Link what I did yesterday. I set myself today a goal to finish the toolbar icons and controls. I have to admit that yesterday after working all day on this skin I slowly started loosing motivation to finish it and that's exactly why I posted an article yesterday to get some support from you guys. So big thanks to everybody for your comments. I got back my spirit and motivation after reading you...

This must be already the 10th time that I decided to make a WindowBlinds skin and couple of times I even started with the artwork but never got myself to make any significant progress as the job just seemed so big. That's why I decided to make it during my 4-day Easter holiday because I don't have a girlfriend anymore and all my friends are going away I have the whole 4 days absolutely free so I figured that this should be enough time for me to create a skin. Yesterday I bought enough food s...

Last time that I went to Virgin Megastore I had 2 interesting encounters. The first one with my long-time friend Lara Croft. We had a nice chat filling each other with latest things that happened to us since our last meeting in April 2006. It was fun as you can see on the photos. The second encounter was with Stardock's Galactic Civilizations II game for PC. At first I was very happy to see that this great game found its way to London stores. But a bit better look at the shelf where it ...

Check out the 'new' iPod Nano design. It's basically the same design as the iPod Mini (which I really like) but in the dimensions of iPod Nano that now comes also in 8 GB version which is also the reason for the price drop of the 2 GB and 4 GB versions Shuffle is now even smaller as the old version but I preffered the old version as you can wear it around your neck. The new Shuffle is designed as a 'clip'.

A question that I often ask myself. I didn't seem to meet any female computer/games geek out there so I'm asking does she/them exist in the real world or only she/they are only a fantasy. For example when my coworker got a new computer (P4 2.4 Ghz, 1024 MB memory) I asked her if it's faster then the old one (P3 600 Mhz, 256 MB memory) she replied: "I didn't notice any difference". The second example is I just started with playing the new Heroes of Might and Magic V and when I asked another my fr...

This is my first article at wincustomize so I'll just get started. I've been using computers since I was 7 years old when my dad bought Commodore 64 and first PC when I was 10. Since then I noticed some interesting things when it comes to dealing with computers. As a computer administrator in our academy I have to deal with computers and problems that have people with them constantly. The first thing that I noticed is that the peoples' mood has a big affect on computers even though compute...
